Help from Heaven
Mrs. Stella Dhinakaran
God is mindful of the poor and the needy. He is the refuge for the poor and saves them from all evil and danger. Today, we see so much of injustice being done to people in families and work places. We also see how the poor, the needy, the lonely, the widows and the like undergo pain, agony and suffering due to oppression and injustice. Under these circumstances, all you need is complete faith in the Lord who saves. For sure, the Lord “who will judge His people” (Psalm 135:14) will help and bless you. Therefore, those of you who suffer injustice need not lose hope. Believe in God Almighty and He will surely help you.
Once there was a poor man in a village. He had a small piece of land. Other than this, there was no one to help him in his village. With the little income he received by cultivating this land, he carried on with his life. In a particular year he got a bumper harvest from this piece of land. On seeing this, the rich man of the village became jealous and made up his mind to grab this land for himself. Now, what could the poor man do? Does not the power of money help injustice to be perpetuated in life? Yet, the poor man did not lose heart at all. He knelt down and prayed “My dear Lord! You’re the only one who can help me in this world. I do not have anyone else to help me. Please save me from the evil designs of this rich man.” He continued to pray. God heard his prayer and diverted the rich man’s focus to another issue. A little later, the rich man left the village and went to another place. The poor man thanked God and continued to live happily.

My dearly beloved, the same God is eager to help you. Bring all your worries to His feet. Let the injustice done to you by others be brought before His presence. Your Redeemer shall surely hear your prayers and render justice to you. “No harm will overtake you; no disaster will come near your tent” (Psalm 91:10). You may be an ordinary person on this earth. But, do not forget that You have access to supernatural help. All of the heavenly host is with you and for you!
