My precious child of God, I greet you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Today, we are going to meditate on Zephaniah 3:17 which says, “The Lord your God is with you,… He will take great delight in you.” According to this verse, the Lord desires to dwell with you, to stay in your home and perform great deeds in your life.
But what about your life? Do you love the Lord? Are you seeking Him as you should be seeking Him? Check up your life today! Psalm 33:12 and 144:15 says, “Blessed is the people whose God is the Lord; the people He chose for His inheritance.” Dear child of God, do you know what kind of God you have? I John 4:8 says, He is FULL OF LOVE. And II Corinthians 13:3 says that He is MIGHTY. Such a loving and mighty God is telling you today that He wants to dwell in you and with you. Do you have Him in your life? Or are you down saying that there is nobody to care for you? Have you been complaining about life that you don’t have this and that? Think about it. Turn away from looking within yourself and start looking unto God for He is such a loving God.
Dear child of God, the Lord is saying to you that He wants to dwell with you and dine with you (Psalm 132:13,14). How privileged are you! When you allow the Lord to dwell in your midst, even while being surrounded by all the problems, the Lord will guide you and bring you out of all of them. John 16:33 says, in the midst of all your struggles and tribulations, the Lord will strengthen you and bring you out of everything. Romans 8:36,37 says that God will give you victory over all the trials and temptations. Allow the Lord to dwell in your midst by crying out to Him to be with you always. He will be pleased to dwell with you and among you and glorify His name.
Precious Heavenly Father, thank You for Your wonderful promise. Lord, You love to dwell among Your people. You have said that You are the vine and I am the branches. Help me, Lord, to remain in You and bear much fruit so that You will be pleased to dwell with me in all Your majesty. I need You in my life. Apart from You, I can do nothing. Surround me with Your loving and mighty presence always and help me to experience the supernatural in my everyday walk with You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
