Your Faith will be Rewarded!
Sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran
Dear Friend, according to Proverbs 28:25 may the Lord richly bless you. "He who is of a proud heart stirs up strife, but he who trusts in the LORD will be prospered." Proud people always fight because they are always thinking high of themselves. They hate and oppose all those who stand in their way. Because of this there will always be fights in the family. Pride brings fights between parents and children, between mother-in-law and daughter -in-law, between -in-laws, between servants of God and in the workplaces.
Pride creeps in because we do not have fear for the Lord. He who fears God thinks low of himself and says, “I am not worthy for these blessings.” He/she totally depends upon the Lord. The ones who put their trust in the Lord need not have to protect themselves. For the Lord himself will protect them. According to Psalm 27:5, " For in the day of trouble, he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock." People who trust in the Lord do not oppose others. They do not fight to get ahead. According to Exodus 14:14 says, " the Lord fights for them " The Lord himself rewards their faith and fights for him and her. Those will be the ones who shall be fat and flourishing spiritually as well as materially. Yes, those who trust in the Lord will prosper.
According to Jeremiah 17:7and 8 verses, “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.” Yes, if you trust in the Lord you will be like a tree planted by the water, like a tree bearing much fruit. You need not be afraid of any storm or any heat or any fight. The one who trusts in the Lord will flourish. May these blessings come upon you who trust in the Lord.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly father, Thank You for Your promise and for teaching me this great truth. According to Your promise, keep me humble and prosperous. Forgive me if I have been proud. Bless all the works of my hands. In Jesus’ Name, I pray, Amen.
